Good morning!
Happy Thursday! We do not have school on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. and his determination for racial equality. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to discuss the topic of ethnicity and stress the importance of reflecting God's love to all people regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status. Tomorrow's Show and Tell is for the letter and next week we'll be working on the following:

** Christ light ** The 12 spies and Korah and his men sin
** Memory Treasure ** The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23
** Math ** Unit 9: Comparing Numbers
** Super Kids ** Us and the letter U and Progress Testing
** Science ** The Solar System Mrs. Carlovsky
** Social Studies ** Time for Kids
** Phonics ** Sight Word Packet #4
** Center Focus ** Numbers 64-68
** Writer's Workshop ** Swimmy
** Music ** Music helps me learn
** PE ** with Mr. Lange
** Technology ** with Mr. Lange

Bible verse for the week: Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Colossians 3:12
