Good morning,
Happy Thursday morning!! Tomorrow is our last day of school before our Thanksgiving break, we will resume classes on Monday, November 27th. The kids have been working hard in SuperKids to blend letter sounds into words, and have been doing a really great job! They've also been learning about three-dimensional shapes and their names, so please feel free to "quiz" them whenever you see spheres, cubes, hexagonal cubes, pyramids, cones, and cylinders! Tomorrow's Show and Tell will be for the letter T. We will be having our Thanksgiving Feast tomorrow as a school, so if you normally order Hot Lunch on Fridays, please cancel for the day. After lunch, they'll get to enjoy a movie with the 1st and 2nd graders (they don't know!). Just a reminder, I will be leaving a little early tomorrow to go to the airport to catch my flight to Michigan. If you need anything over the break, don't hesitate to call, text, or email.

When we come back from break, we'll be working on the following:

** Christ light ** Moses and Aaron speak to the King & The Plagues
** Memory Treasure ** Christmas Recitation: Suddenly, a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
** Math ** Unit 6 (Patterns)
** Super Kids ** Tic, Tac, Toc and the letter T
** Science ** Life Cycles with Mrs. Carlovsky
** Social Studies ** Time for Kids: Native American Heritage Month
** Phonics ** Sight Word Packet #1 (a, the, and, of, to, in, is, you, that, it)
** Center Focus ** Numbers 41-45
** Writer's Workshop ** Swimmy
** Music ** Christmas Music
** PE ** Presidential Fitness preparation with Mr. Lange
** Technology ** PBS Kids with Mr. Lange

Bible verse of the week: Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for all of you :)
