Good morning parents,
Can you believe that tomorrow is already December 1st? I say it every year, but it seems the older I get, the quicker time flies by! Tomorrow's Show and Tell is for the letter T. We've been busy working on our Christmas recitations (Memory Treasures) for the Children's Christmas service on Thursday, December 21st. Just a reminder, the 21st is a half day, so the students need to be picked up at noon. The Christmas service is at 6:30, so please have them in the gym by 6:15. The dress code for that night is nice clothes (girls: dress and boys: shirt and tie). The church tends to fill up, so if you would like to come earlier to get a seat, that would be a good idea. The Kindergartners will be in the front row :)
Next week we'll be working on the following:

** Christ light ** God leads His people out of Egypt/God leads His people through the Red Sea
** Memory Treasure ** Christmas Recitation: Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19).
** Math ** Unit 7 (Comparing Sets)
** Super Kids ** Progress Testing and Frits and the letter F
** Science ** Plants with Mrs. Carlovsky
** Social Studies ** Building Character
** Phonics ** Sight Word Packet #1 (a, the, and, of, to, in, is, you, that, it)
** Center Focus ** Numbers 46-50
** Writer's Workshop ** Swimmy
** Music ** Christmas Music
** PE ** Presidential Fitness preparation with Mr. Lange
** Technology ** PBS Kids with Mr. Lange

Bible verse of the week: For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:13

Have a great day!
