Good morning parents!
Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving? Next week will be our last week of school before the Thanksgiving holiday. We'll be off of school November 18-26th and will resume classes on Monday, November 27th. I will be leaving early Friday to catch a flight to Michigan to be with my family for the holiday, so Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Hildebrandt (our 1st & 2nd grade teachers) will have the Kindergartners in the afternoon and will bring them to pick up line after school.
Please cancel your child's hot lunch order for next Friday, November 17th because we'll be eating Thanksgiving Dinner together as a school at lunch time. A sign up genius was sent earlier this week, so if you haven't had a chance, please sign up to bring something. It's always a great time with the entire school :)
We'll also be collecting canned food to give to needy families for Thanksgiving, so if you would like to contribute, you can send them with your kiddo anytime next week!
Tomorrow's Show and Tell is for the letter I. We'll also be having cooking class tomorrow morning.

Next week we'll be working on the following:

** Christ light ** God teaches Moses & God calls Moses
** Memory Treasure ** Christmas Recitations: While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
** Math ** Shapes (Unit 5)
** Super Kids **Icky and the letter I, Progress Testing, and Tic, Tac, Toc and the letter T
** Science ** with Mrs. Carlovsky
** Social Studies ** Time for Kids: A Time to be Thankful
** Phonics ** Thanksgiving Activity
** Center Focus ** Numbers 36-40
** Writer's Workshop ** The Very Hungry Caterpillar
** Art ** Thanksgiving Project
** Music ** Christmas Music
** PE ** with Mr. Lange
** Technology ** with Mr. Lange

Bible verse of the week: I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34-35

Have a terrific day!
