Good morning!
THANK YOU so much for all the love and appreciation shown to me this week! I truly enjoyed getting the hugs, cards, and gifts from the kids! I love teaching your children and have really loved our year together in Kindergarten!
We are rescheduling our Zoo Field Trip to next Friday, May 17th! Due to the recent flooding and weather predictions, we want the kids to be safe and out of harm's way. Thank you to those of you for responding about being able to chaperone the field trip next week! Tomorrow will be a normal day of school for the kids. We'll have Cooking Class in the morning and our show and tell is for the letter Z.
If you're looking for something to do tomorrow (weather permitting), come to the 5-8th graders Play here in the school gymnasium. This year it'll be dinner and a show, so come and enjoy dinner and watch their hard work in action. The suggested donation is $5 a person.
Happy early Mother's Day to all of your wonderful Mom's! Your child is bringing home your homemade gift today, we hope you like it!
Kindergarten graduation is quickly approaching! We will celebrate this big moment on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:30pm. The kids should be here by 6:15 to get on their robes and graduation caps! The ceremony will start at 6:30 in the gym, followed with a reception in the school commons area. I'll send a sign up genius later today to help with things for the reception.
The closing service/8th grade graduation service is Thursday, May 23rd at 6:30 in the church. K-8 will be singing for the closing service, so mark your calendars for that! Our last day of school is Friday, May 24th with a noon dismissal.
